Board & Barrel is a neighborhood wine bar on SW Gage Boulevard in Topeka, built around three simple things: a great bottle, food made from scratch, and a room you’ll want to stay in awhile.

Every pasta on the menu is made in house from semolina, and our focaccia comes fresh each week from our friends at H & A Sourdough Bakery. Our filet and KC strip are Prime from Better Fed Foods, raised and processed right here in Kansas, alongside a Braveheart Black Angus ribeye, all cold-seared and finished with a torched garlic herb butter.

The wine list runs from easy everyday pours to a reserve cellar, with plenty by the glass, plus a full bar for classic cocktails, martinis and seasonal drinks. Whether it’s a working lunch, date night, or a bottle shared with friends, pull up a chair and let us take care of the rest.
